The Townes at Point Seanna

Local developer David Hunter first planned this 81 unit town house development in 2015.  A Neighborhood Meeting was held but then the developer put the project on hold until now.  A Rezoning hearing is planned for June 17.

The proposed development is on a point of land bordering on Pigeon Run, the Lake and Shaffers Cove, across from Anna Point Marina, just North of  Rt. 208 on the Spotsylvania side of the lake.

Originally all open boat slips and a covered slip shed were located on Shaffers Cove.  Given the amount of traffic, the development was changed to 3 covered slip sheds on the 3 bodies of water.  Also, the entire waterfront has been rip-rapped to meet Spotsylvania/ Chesapeake Bay standards.
