LACA is aware of the high voltage power infrastructure proposed by Valley Link Transmission Company, LLC, through central Virginia, supporting the electricity requirements of Northern VA. While this development, in its current plan, does not appear to have a direct impact on Lake Anna, both routes will traverse the watershed of Lake Anna affecting our neighbors’ properties in Louisa, Orange and Spotsylvania counties. Both proposed routes will cross the North Anna River and Pamunkey Creek, and the “blue” route will cross Terrys Run, all of these just prior to their outflow into Lake Anna. LACA is following this development carefully and seeks to provide information that will equip the community to provide educated feedback to the process as this develops.
