Cyanobacteria Data and maps - UPPER LAKE

These data and maps document the algae testing that is conducted by LACA on the lake.  For 2021, algae monitoring resources will be concentrated on the upper lake areas, north of the 208 bridge.

LACA plans to conduct eleven cycles from early May through early November.  We will monitor the North Anna branch of the upper lake in week one of each cycle and the Pamunkey Creek branch in week two of each cycle.  The total length of the project is 22 weeks.

All data and maps published by LACA for our Algae Monitoring Project are posted on these pages for public review.  Maps and data from the current monitoring cycle are posted as images for review.  Maps and data from previous monitoring cycles in the current year are provided as links for review or download.  Algae monitoring data from previous years (2020) can be requested via e-mail.  Send an e-mail to harry.looney@lakeannavirginia.org with dates and locations requested.
