Elections
Elections
Nomination Committee:
Chairman: Bernie White

LACA holds elections for Officers and Regional Directors each year with terms of office of two years. The President, Treasurer and Directors of odd numbered regions are elected in years ending in odd numbers. The Vice-President, Secretary and Directors of even numbered regions are elected in years ending in even numbers. The President will appoint an Election Committee in February. The Committee will be responsible for announcing/publicizing the positions that will be up for election and to recommend a slate of candidates. Interested LACA members will be invited to offer themselves for election, even if the incumbent chooses to run for reelection. Detailed information will be provided in the Spring Newsletter. Your help is needed. Why don’t you volunteer? Or, why don’t you encourage your spouse or your neighbor to volunteer? YOUR ASSOCIATION NEEDS YOU TO VOLUNTEER.

The following positions will be open for election via written ballot during June 2009 and will be announced on July 25th, at the LACA Annual Meeting.
